Connor Bedard is a Canadian center forward. Date of birth: July 17, 2005. Place of birth: North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Played for two seasons for the West Van Academy Bantam Varsity hockey club (2018-2019, 2019-2020) Spent some time (season 2020-2021) in the hockey club HV71 (hockey club from Jönköping, Sweden. Plays in the Swedish Elite Series - the top division of the Swedish championship. Five-time champion of Sweden) For 3 seasons in a row (2020-2013) he played for the Regina Pats team (a youth Canadian hockey club of the Western Hockey League from Regina, Saskatchewan). Connor managed to become a captain and lead the whole team. He played internationally for Team Canada. In 2021, together with the Canadian national team under 18, he took 1st place at the World Hockey Championship. In 2022 and 2023 with the Canadian national junior team, he won the championship and brought his team victory. On June 28, he was selected first overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. On July 17, 2023 (when Connor turned 18), he signed a 3-year entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.
