Hey everyone, what's up?! This is just a quick little update to say that I am currently working on a few new songs, so keep your ears open and check back for more updates! Thanks! I love music. During the early stages of life, I was a classic pots-and-pans drummer, only entertaining those of who were in short distance to hear my noise. I rocked. Growing up I was a head banger, listening to the classics and some metal with Dad. On the side from that, I was also an oldies boy; Mom's music sure got me singing along. Sure, those genres are great but I never really established my destiny until 2 years before highschool. I stumbled upon a radio station with wide variety from Hip Hop, to R&B from Indie, to Dance. The best music I had ever heard. During the 8th and 9th grade, I listened to a nice selection of Rap, Hip Hop and R&B. From Eminem to Lil Jon, the Ying Yang Twins to Akon. I had always wondered how those funny sounds were played in "Miss New Booty" by Bubba Sparxxx. I began my search. In the 10th grade, I recieved "Magix Music Maker 11 Deluxe" and began making some dance and techno beats to start me off. After I became wellknown for some cool beats by my friends, I decided to pick up a microphone and work the other way. Rap. I found myself angry towards former relationships, and seemed to have quite a few songs to cover my feelings. I then began making more music to cover the bright side of love which became popular in the sense they were "cute". Soundclick.com became a fun destination when it was time for some new beats that my tiny program couldn't produce. I still visit the site quite often today for some future products to create more demos. When grade 11 came along, I ran into an incredible producer on YouTube, MdL Productions. In his earlier videos, he gave brief tutorials on how to use, play and create amazing Hip Hop instrumentals on the Yamaha Motif ES6. After further research and more tutorials, on June 28th, 2008 I received my Motif ES6. Ever since, I have been playing around with it and using Cubase Studio 4 for my work. Unable to find help on how to record MIDI to Audio in the program, my Motif ES6 has had a stand-still in my path. Looking back and at my progress, I went from techno music, to hateful monotone rapping, to a wide variety of upbeat hip hop tracks people tend to enjoy. Music as it is, will never die out but stretch to whatever lengths a person can push it. Music is creativity and I will never stop trying, never stop improving and never hold back my piece in it. Music has taught me so much about life, love and has given me the confidence to wake up today, striving to be a better person.
